Nurses

Our practice nurse  appointments are by invite only. All services provided by the Practice Nurse include patients with chronic disorders including asthma, chronic lung disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. The practice nurse has an active role in health promotion and travel immunisation advice.

Routine bloods requested by GP are via Treatment Room by appointment only.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
