The Breast Screening Programme

 

All eligible women age 50 – 70 registered with this practice will shortly be invited for breast screening (mammogram). You will receive your appointment letter through the post inviting you to a mobile unit situated in the grounds of, Tesco Car Park, Silverburn.

 

If the appointment is unsuitable, please call the centre to rearrange it.

 

 

Women 71 and over can request an appointment by contacting the Breast Screening Centre:

Breast screening every 3 years is the best way to detect breast cancer early when treatment is most likely to be effective.

Repeat Prescriptions -  CALL 531 6875 OR ORDER ONLINE.   PLEASE COLLECT YOUR REGISTRATION FORM AT PRACTICE RECEPTION.

pill_bottleRepeat prescriptions can be requested by using the re-order form attached to your last prescription. Tick the items required and either hand it in at reception or post it to us. If you want it posted back please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

Alternatively you can phone in your request on 0141-531-6875 .If you would like to order your prescription online you are required to complete a simple registration, please see a receptionist for details.

A number of pharmacies can also provide a collection and delivery service.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
